Sold Rustic Black Cherry Burl Vase

This teardrop shaped vase is turned thin and has carved feet.  Pieces of the wood flew in every direction during the turning process, but the burl was too gorgeous to just give up on! I put the pieces back together with gold epoxy, emulating the Kintsugi technique. Highlighting imperfections is often the best result. Hand finished with all natural, non-toxic walnut oil. 6"x 7".
